About Us
CDL4ALL, LLC is FMCSA registered, IDOT third-party certified to provide final pre-trip,
skills, and drive testing. CDL4ALL is licensed, insured, and bonded.
We use a 5-speed synchronized transmission so the drivers do not have any restrictions on their license (single axle tractor and 28-foot single axle dry van trailer).
We are also open 7 days a week from dawn until dusk (except for some holidays).
We provide the skills-testing area and drive route that is certified by the IDOT.
CDL4ALL cannot provide the general knowledge test, air brake test, combination, or any endorsement testing for a person to get their CLP (Commercial Learner's Permit).
This must be done at a local IDOT location.
CDL4ALL, LLC can provide ELDT and final testing for students or clients from out of the state of Iowa (ELDT behind the wheel training must be done in Iowa, after completion the student must go back to their home state to get their physical CDL, online theory can be completed anywhere in the USA).
About CDL Training
Our process is to provide the necessary information for a person to
obtain a CDL, by following the FMCSA, DOT, and IDOT specific requirements.
Instructions
You will need to pass the general knowledge, combination, and air brake tests (Class A).
For a (Class B) you have to pass the general knowledge and air brake tests.
You can add tank endorsement if you want. There is not an ELDT for that.
Keep your paper CLP (Commercial Learner Permit). That is your permit, not the plastic you will get in the mail. Without it you will get a ticket if you get pulled over. You will need your IDOT Medical Card depending on K restriction
Here is the link to study for the tests.
https://iowadot.gov/mvd/cdl/iowa-cdl-test-app
Make a username, password, last four driver's license numbers and follow the directions.
The updated CDL manual attachment is the new one. It has all the pre-trip to study, skills, and route BTW (Behind the Wheel) testing at the end of the manual.
We suggest reading the book and utilize test questions. When you have your permit, we can proceed. You will need to have your CLP for at least 14 days before you can take your final test. We can start the ELDT as soon as you get your permit and medical card.
CDL4ALL will provide the online theory, skills, and drive ELDT.
CDL4ALL is a certified 3 rd party tester for the IDOT.
CDL4ALL will provide the final testing. The skills area and drive route are
certified by the IDOT.
CDL4ALL can also provide Hazmat ELDT (online)
Schedule of Classes
CDL4ALL does not use a physical classroom setting (Classroom curriculum is in development).
CDL4ALL uses online theory for the classroom that students can do in the comfort of their own home and at their own pace.
(The student must get at least 80% correct on all sections).
The online theory is very thorough and does have an option for video at an additional fee of $50.00 the student or client must pay.
We also provide video links for the students to watch for the pre-trip and skills testing.
For schedules regarding physical ELDT and testing, CDL4ALL is usually one week out.
